The International Knowledge Asset Office was founded by Kenny Masaki, who has extensive experience in maximizing the value of knowledge assets on an international scale. We believe that our customers’ needs are of utmost importance, and our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. Kenny Masaki: Japanese Patent Attorney, US Patent Agent

Mr. Masaki is a well-poised international IP business professional, qualified as a Japanese Patent Attorney and a US Patent Agent. With nearly 30 years of business experience, he has worked in R&D, patent prosecution, international business transactions, management of licensing companies, and acquisition of patent portfolios and a patent holding company at Pioneer Corporation and Discovision Associates. Mr. Masaki has experience in Japan, Europe, and the US in high technology and IP licensing. He has supervised industry research, patent prosecution, reverse engineering, and new business development in one of the most successful licensing companies. He has an excellent grasp of inventions and can create successful licensing programs based on newly developed IP portfolios. Recently, Mr. Masaki expanded his contacts to Japan, US, China and India and established successful business relationships with local associates and companies. His main focus is on maximizing the value of knowledge assets by leveraging the knowledge and creativity of people associated with the business. Mr. Masaki received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto and passed the Japanese patent bar in 1984. He also passed the US patent bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
